Abstract

The terms employee development, career system and professionalism are frequently used in human resource management. Effective human resource management encompasses employee development, career planning, career management, and succession planning. Employee development and career development are considered to be long-term processes that include regular opportunities and experiences planned systematically to promote growth and development in profession. The purpose of this article is to analyze employee development and career system for maintaining professionalism as a new mode of orientation for public organizations. The methodology used for the study is analytical based on primary information. Employee development activities and career systems in the public sector tend to have a direct impact on the professionalism of its employees.
